Organizers announced that Ambassador Liberata Mulamula will attend as Special Guest.

The event is being organized with the support of the African Renaissance and Diaspora Network (ARDN), an international organization engaging more than 250 million people of African descent across over 80 countries. ARDN has long focused on advancing sustainable development, youth empowerment, health initiatives, and Africa-related international cooperation projects.

ARDN is also widely known for leading initiatives such as the “Red Card Campaign,” which promotes awareness, education, and international engagement around the SDGs and social development issues.

According to organizers, this year’s Africa Day activities will focus on themes including:

  • Sustainable development and Agenda 2063
  • Youth leadership and innovation
  • Digital economy and international cooperation
  • Africa’s growing global role
  • Diaspora engagement and investment
  • Public-private partnerships for development

Global City Connect (GCC) Founder and Executive President Martin Wang will also deliver a recorded speech during the event. Wang, a former senior journalist at the United Nations and former Vice President of the United Nations Correspondents Association, is expected to speak about China-Africa cooperation, international people-to-people exchanges, and the importance of building practical cooperation platforms connecting cities, enterprises, and global resources.

Observers note that Africa continues to attract growing international attention as one of the world’s fastest-growing regions, driven by rapid urbanization, digital transformation, renewable energy development, and a young population expected to play an increasingly important role in the global economy.

The event comes amid expanding international efforts to strengthen cooperation with African countries in areas including infrastructure, fintech, education, healthcare, green development, and industrial modernization.
