Tian Fengyin, from 1991 to the present day, has traveled thousands of miles, from Shanhaiguan in the east to Jiayuguan in the west, sketching and creating over 800 Great Wall-themed oil paintings. She has visited 23 countries, including France and Norway, and held 47 solo exhibitions with the Great Wall as the main theme. She has received high praise from dignitaries of many countries, including the Chief Financial Officer of the International Monetary Fund, who referred to her as the “Chinese Phoenix by the Seine, the second Monet, a grassroots peace ambassador, and a cultural ambassador of the Great Wall.”

Tian Fengyin: A native of Huairou, Beijing, a Chinese painter specializing in Great Wall-themed oil paintings, the Director of the Tian Fengyin Great Wall Art Museum, a National March Eighth Red Flag Bearer, a representative at the 12th National Women’s Congress of China, a member of the China Good People List, Deputy Director of the Art Committee of the Civil Construction Central Academy, a member of the China Mural Society, a council member of the Beijing Artists Association, Vice Chairman of the Chaoyang District Federation of Literary and Art Circles, a member of the 4th session of the Huairou District Political Consultative Conference, a member of the 13th and 14th sessions of the Chaoyang District Political Consultative Conference, a visiting professor at the Communication University of China, and a visiting professor at the Bordeaux Academy of Fine Arts in France.

Her Great Wall oil paintings have been presented as official gifts by China for the APEC summit and have won the APEC Summit Special Contribution Award. Her works have been exhibited at the First and Second Belt and Road Expos, where they were collected by attending dignitaries. They have also won the Second Belt and Road Special Contribution Award. Tian Fengyin’s Great Wall oil paintings are held in collections at 25 foreign embassies, including the Chinese Embassy in France, as well as at the United Nations Headquarters, the French Ministry of Finance, the Louvre Museum, the National Gallery of Norway, the French National Academy of Fine Arts, the Tiananmen Tower, the China Anti-Japanese War Memorial Hall, the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, the Cao Yu Memorial Hall, the Huairou District Museum, the Mutianyu Great Wall, and by various enterprises and collectors.

In March 2024, at the invitation of UN Women, Tian Fengyin represented female artists from around the world to participate in the 68th session of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women.
