It is a derivative organization of the United Nations Special Trafficking Operations Program, also abbreviated as STOP, which is the UN’s anti-human trafficking body. Since its inception, Ms. de Lavarene and her team have been committed to providing hope and opportunities for victims, as well as ensuring global attention and solutions to this issue.
Ms. de Lavarene is a trained journalist and a staunch humanitarian. For the past 20 years, she has served as a UN correspondent for Jeune Africa and RFI (Radio France Internationale). Her news coverage has spanned seven UN mission areas, including Cambodia, South Africa, Eastern Slavonia, East Timor, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Liberia.
Ms. Huang expressed heartfelt gratitude to STOP for its trust and support, both personally and on behalf of WORLD MADAM Group.
